My dog had IVDD and hindend weakness. She had neuro issues, and went to rehab weekly. I had so many vets try to push Librela on her for the pain. Our rehab vet said absolutely not and that she would never use it for a neuro dog. She had a Newfoundland, another neuro dog, as a patient that had been given Librela. After the injection, the dog became paralyzed due to the stoppage of the nerve growth factors. We had another rehab vet before relocating out of state and she also said she would never give it to a dog with neuro issues.
