What your VET is reading about raw food

Updated: Aug 27, 2023

We know conventional vets are against anything but a commercial food for both dogs and cats. Check out Dr. Jeff's critique of the new Canadian Veterinary Medical Association position statement.

Hello Dr. Jeff. Thanks for putting together the conference(s); they're wonderful! You mentioned today 2 e-books on feeling raw to cats and dogs, with 10 recipes in each. I haven't been able to find the link to them on the conference pages, and not elsewhere either. Would you please let me know where to find them? Many thanks from Francie.

I really do wish I'd known some of this information years ago. Also, I REALLY do appreciate that you always get right to the point in your videos. (Some people just talk forever). Thank you so much, I've learned a lot.

Thank You for keeping us updated Jeff! The CVMA must be supporting the multi billion dollar pet food industry and visa versa! My little dog has just been featured in the Red Dog Blue Kat - Raving Raw Feeders, for her glorious healthy coat and beautiful shining eyes! She is 11 yr old Chihuahua with sparkly clean teeth and a very healthy heart! Thanks to Raw Food ♥️🐾

Good info. Many thanks for this. I moved our 6 year old Brittany over to raw around last Christmas Her shape is better, coat looks great and , to my memory, she hasn't vomited since we started her on the raw food. Cheers

The raw food can work so well in some dogs, and cats.

Hi Dr. Jeff

Thanks for your message on raw food. I am new to trying this and to transition my 21 year old Black Egyptian Mau/Barncat over to it.

I tried what you suggested...roll the raw food into crushed kibble and give it to her that way.

Am I suppose to cook it after I roll the raw food in the kibble?

I didn't do that . If I should, what do I set the temperature at or do I just boil it? There is no mention of cooking raw food on the package.

Please help.

Cheers,

Margaret Churchill

You do not cook raw food. The intent is to feed it raw.
