Raw Food - Not a Major Source of Illness

Reported in the mainstream Veterinary Record (Britain's professional vet magazine), you will see that the risk from raw food is really, really low.

You know what really ticks me off about people that talk about raw cat and dog food? The fact that they say that 0, humans are exposed to raw food and you can be contaminated and get salmonella and all this other crap. However, they don't say anything about when we make chicken on the grill which starts off raw, chicken wings which start off raw, hamburger meat before it becomes hamburger patties and cooked, is raw! Any meat that you eat before it is cooked is considered RAW! So why this whole stigma around raw cat and dog food? You prepare it the same as you would prepare any other kind of food but you just don't cook it…
